and a real pain in the butt for the moment. Well, as they say, short term pain for long term gain.
They started Thursday, and apparently their saw broke and they had to get it fixed (I was at training in Toledo so missed out on that). Evidently quite a fix, since they did not make it back Friday. So, the pictures reflect how they left the scene as of then.
I am the lucky one. I am back on the road tomorrow morning before dawn, and I won’t be back from Cincinnati until Friday evening. With any luck the waterproofers will be all done by then. In the meantime, Rita and the dogs get to deal with the crew — one of whom is said to be deathly afraid of dogs. That’ll be fun….
Next project, no doubt, will be to renovate a newly dry basement. We’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.
