9/11: We Will Never Forget

It was just eight years ago today that our nation was brutally attacked by an evil terrorist movement. We must not forget. We will not forget. For if we do, we ensure it will happen again. Do not be distracted by calls to "transform" this anniversary into some sort of national day of service. We are always, every day, called to serve our brothers and sisters. It is up to us to remember what happened that day in 2001, sadly and solemnly, but with determination and resolve that this good country will never be overcome by the forces behind those attacks. Pray for the victims and their families. Pray too that we may remain strong and vigilant. Pray that we never forget the lessons of 9/11.
